Lee Mental Health partners with other agencies in several ways:

  • Children’s Network of Southwest Florida
    Contracted provider for child welfare services in Lee and Charlotte Counties
  • Southwest Florida Addiction Services (SWFAS)
    Coordination of detoxification services, residential substance abuse treatment programs and a partnership to establish services in Cape Coral and Lehigh Acres at the Lehigh United Way House.
  • Fort Myers Housing Authority 
    In-kind donation of space at Michigan Links Housing Development for community outreach and coordination of services through the RCC Family Life Center program.
  • Child Care Southwest Florida  
    coordination of child care and educational services for children and families in Michigan Links Housing Development.
  • United Way of Lee County  
    Partnering to host the Lehigh United Way House in Lehigh Acres to serve the community, the Family Life Center in Michigan Links, and the Serenity New Directions Program.
  • Salvation Army
    Coordination of housing and support services to serve persons with mental illnesses.
  • Lee County School District
    Provides on-site mental health services in public schools and outpatient services for students in crisis. 
  • SADD student organizations
    Lee County schools provide cereal donations for the Kid’s Breakfast Club as a community service project.
  • Community Cooperative Ministries, Inc.
    Provides milk, juice, etc. for the Kid’s Breakfast Club.
  • Lee Memorial Health System, Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center/Gulf Coast Hospital, and Lehigh Regional Hospital  
    collaboration on acute care and emergency services needs in the community, leadership support for mental health and human services projects.
  • Public Safety Coordinating Council
    collaboration with representatives from the Public Defenders Office, State Attorney Office, Probation Department, County Commissioners, and Florida Gulf Coast University to address public safety issues.
  • Harry Chapin Food Banks 
    Kid’s Breakfast Club, Family Life Center , and D.A.T.E./ Serenity Center .
  • Lee County Human Services 
    Coordination of housing development, emergency social services, and Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) for law enforcement, mental health professionals, community representatives, family members, and individuals with mental illnesses to be prepared for a response in a crisis situation.
  • Southwest Florida Community Foundation
    Economic assistance funds for the Dunbar Community through the Family Life Center , funding for the Kids’ Breakfast Club, and Disaster Relief funds for hurricane recovery, capital campaign support.
  • Big Brothers Big Sister
    Member of Lehigh United Way House Service Provider Council, providing services/activities from the LUWH.
  • Abuse Counseling and Treatment
    Partnership agreement with Lehigh United Way House, providing services to Lehigh residents from the House.
  • Salvation Army
    Member of Lehigh United Way House Service Provider Council, providing services/activities from the House in partnership with numerous agencies.
  • Florida Rural Legal Services
    Partnership agreement with Lehigh united Way House; providing services from the House.
  • LA Social Services
    Member of Lehigh United Way House Service Provider Council, providing services/activities from the House.
  • Career and Service Center of Lee County
    Member of Lehigh United Way House Service Provider Council, providing services/activities from the House in partnership with numerous agencies.
  • Workforce Council of Southwest Florida
    Partnership agreement with Lehigh United Way House; volunteer working at the House 20 hours per week through the Workforce Council Senior program.
  • Florida Gulf Coast University
    Partnering with Lee Mental Health to offer students an internship opportunity at the Lehigh United Way House and other programs throughout Lee Mental Health.
